Sam and Brittany provide excellent care. They are thoughtful, gentle, well prepared and educated. I am so grateful to them for their support and care throughout my third pregnancy and home birth. I had a positive experience delivering my baby with Monarch Midwifery. Brittany and Jenna attended my birth and they did a great job taking care of us. I loved that I was able to go back to bed and rest shortly after delivery, I didn’t get that experience with my other births.

The midwives were always easy to reach and responded quickly — this was important to me! When I needed extra support they provided me with great resources pre and post delivery. Their work shows of a lot of experience and confidence and that is important when uncertain situations come up during pregnancy.

They are one of the best midwiferies that I have come across and would highly recommend them!

Our experience with Monarch Midwifery was so positive. They are very competent and informative providers.

Sam and Kira attended my wife's labor. I am thankful that they were respectful and encouraging for how she wanted to labor, which was in our own home primarily in the pool they provided.

There was a complication that prolonged delivery. Sam and Kira were very adept at managing this challenge and making quick decisions all while keeping a calm and professional demeanor, respecting our earlier desire for me to cut the cord, and showing my wife decency by asking permission before doing any sort of bodily exam. My wife and son were in healthy condition after the birth. They rested in the comfort of our own home while the midwives cleaned up the house and took down the pool.

Brittany, Sam, and Jenna were a joy to visit during prenatal and post-partum check ups. I recommend Monarch Midwifery. Your family will be in good hands. God bless.

I really loved my experience with Monarch Midwifery, I felt heard and understood at all times. Brittany and Jenna were on top of it when I needed to be transferred to a hospital (due to some complications of the position that baby was in), I felt and knew that it was the best and safest option for me and baby. Even though I was transferred they continued to be involved in my care and stayed as my advocates at the hospital which I really appreciated. Truly a beautiful and safe bond was created between me and my midwives. I would recommend them to anyone who is interested in doing a home birth!

I had a wonderful experience with the monarch midwives for my second pregnancy! When I found out almost halfway through the pregnancy that I was expecting didi twins they were very encouraging and answered my many questions. When we had to transfer to the hospital unexpectedly I was so thankful for their help. Brittany even came with me and stayed until our twins were born!

I’m so glad I came across Monarch Midwifery. Even though it wasn’t my first birth, it was my first home birth. It was the best birth I’ve had out of 5. Both Brittany and Sam are very knowledgeable and professional. I always left empowered and encouraged after each appointment. It was such pleasure to have them both attend the birth. I especially appreciated the two postpartum home visits, it was really nice not needing to leave the house first week or two. Overall it was really great experience.

I am still in awe of my second baby’s entrance into this world. She was here within 4 and a half hours with no complications (much different than the 50 hours and 5 hours of pushing with my first). When I found out I was expecting again I did everything I could to have a different experience this time around. We worked with Sam and Brittany who came alongside us throughout pregnancy to help us feel confident and empowered to have a home birth. They recommended the best chiropractor and physical therapist to help my body become stronger. I felt listened to and cared for with every interaction we had. I feel as though I truly received individualized care. I will forever be thankful for their support, education, and care for me as I journeyed through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

Super happy I came across Monarch for the birth of my 3rd baby! I always felt that my baby girl and I were in great hands with Sam, Brittany, and Jenna. They always made me feel very comfortable, and brought a calming presence to delivery day. Sam and Jenna quickly jumped in offering to apply hard pressure to my back while I had brutal back labor and I'm so grateful for that. They gave me great care throughout my pregnancy and postpartum. Would highly recommend them to any mama's who are in search of a midwife!

I used Monarch Midwifery for my first pregnancy and I loved them!! I enjoyed every visit with them. They were so reassuring when I was anxious or worried about something and always made me feel comforted. Something came up and I had to have my baby at the hospital but they were there for me while we were there and postpartum too. It was so nice knowing I could call or text my midwives with any questions or concerns throughout my whole pregnancy, when we were at the hospital and when we were home with our newborn! If we're blessed with another baby, I'd love to use them again. I'm thankful for you all at Monarch!❤

If you are debating having a home birth, look no further and set up a consultation with these ladies! I have had 3 previous hospital births and let me tell you NIGHT AND DAY different. Sam & Brittany will make you feel so comfortable, answer any questions, and be extremely thorough with making sure you and baby are safe. They even had a student midwife throughout my care that was equally wonderful. My birth was relaxing and at ease that I was smiling through my contractions up until the contraction that pushed her out & I give a lot of credit to them for making me feel so at peace. Also they are just a phone call/ text away if you are ever in need of anything which can ease your mind if it’s your first home birth. I had such a beautiful experience and it’s left me on a high months later. Thank you ladies so much!

My home birth experience with Monarch Midwifery was amazing! It was like night and day compared to my two previous hospital births. They took time to get to know me, reassured me with their wealth of knowledge and helpful suggestions, and allowed me to enjoy this incredible experience instead of putting me on the medical conveyor belt of endless checklists. It was also refreshing to be able to text or call a real person 24/7 whenever I needed help before or after birth and always get a prompt and helpful response.

At the birth Brittany and her team worked around me and what was happening naturally allowed me to relax and concentrate on what my body wanted to do. I also loved holding my baby the moment she popped out, having her close, and watching her first exam. The whole experience felt so much more real and human than the hospital. Getting tucked into my own bed with my precious new baby just hours after birth was amazing. My first few days after birth were just full of joy, relaxing in my own room, soaking in my new baby, and visiting with family. I’m positive I recovered faster thanks to being at home.

I first had Sam and Brittany as midwives in 2019 for my first pregnancy. Even though there was a complication and we had to go to the hospital to deliver I still chose them for my second pregnancy. This is because I had fallen in love with them. They are so knowledgeable in the field. They make you feel safe, worthy and loved. For my second pregnancy I was able to get the home birth that I wanted not only due to my strength but because of their expert hands. I really believe if I had any other midwife I wouldn’t of been able to achieve this feat. It was empowering and fulfilling to give birth to my son in the comfort of my own home. My birth experience was enriched because of them and I will forever choose them because that’s what you do when you become family.
