I am an wife to a Soldier and mom to 2 little ones! April of 2011 Monarch Midwifery
helped welcome my son to the world with the most amazing home birth, and
I'm thrilled to be apart of the team and help mothers feel as loved and
empowered as they have made me feel.
I have been a Massage Therapist for 12 years. I have practiced in Chiropractic offices, Ski resorts, had my own practice, and was the lead Massage Therapist at a 5 star spa in La Jolla, CA. I specialize in Prenatal Massage, Deep Tissue, sports massage, Abyanga Massage, Shiatsu, Stone Massage, and trigger point therapy.
After
the birth of my first born i decided to study to become a Doula, and to
use my gift and trade of Massage Therapy to help mamas in labor. I'm
currently studying through Childbirth International and should be done
with my certification by the end of the summer 2011.
I'm a photographer, and recently switched my focus from industrial and architectural photography,
to family and birth photography. To be able to help you capture
priceless moments is truly a gift, and i couldn't be more happy about
being able to offer it to the mothers of Fayetteville.
I began
researching Placenta Encapsulation after the birth of my first child
when i struggled with sever baby blues. After my second child was born
I got to experience the amazing benefits of it! The difference was
amazing. My milk came in 2 days faster, I had no anxiety or weepiness
at all, and about a half hour after taking a pill I would feel so calm
and peaceful. Being an Army wife and living on post i see the
struggles woman go through postpartum..especially when their partner is
deployed. Knowing the benefits of Encapsulation and being able to help
mothers gives me so much joy!
