Certified Doula and Monitrice in Training

Rebeca has been with Monarch Midwifery since 2009.  She has a health education background and has worked to improve birth outcomes and the postpartum period in a variety of populations.  She earned a Masters of Public Health in Global Health in 2008.  During this time she found out about doulas, midwives, and lactation professionals and her life was forever changed. She is certified through DONA international as a birth and postpartum doula and is also a certified lactation counselor.

Rebeca is passionate about helping women to realize their innate power around the time of birth.  She is thrilled to be working with Monarch Midwifery and hopes that she can help to make your birth an even more amazing experience!
